This notice will be sent to the email address you entered on the Payment Selection Form \u2013 Option 2.<\/p>\n<p>You can calculate this for yourself by logging onto <a href=\"https:\/\/kwes.acck.edu\/ics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">My KWU<\/a> &gt; Student &gt; My Student Account.\u00a0 Scroll down to MyAccount Balance and select the term for which the payment is due.\u00a0 An Account Statement will display. Divide that balance by the number of payments remaining.\u00a0 Example: Prior to the third payment being drawn, the Account balance is $2,000.\u00a0 Divide $2,000 by the two remaining payments (the third and the fourth) = $1000 will be drawn.<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n                                        <div class=\"item\">\n            <p id=\"what-if-my-coyote-receives-additional-outside-scholarships-or-makes-payments-during-the-summer\" class=\"expand-collapse-title\">\n              <a href=\"?ecopen=what-if-my-coyote-receives-additional-outside-scholarships-or-makes-payments-during-the-summer#what-if-my-coyote-receives-additional-outside-scholarships-or-makes-payments-during-the-summer\" title=\"Show Details\">\n                <span>What if my Coyote receives additional outside scholarships or makes payments during the summer?<\/span>\n              <\/a>\n            <\/p>\n            <div class=\"expand-collapse-description\">\n              <div class=\"description-wrap cf\">\n                <p>The Business office calculates your monthly payment each month by looking at the current balance and dividing that balance by the remaining number of payments.\u00a0 If the Financial Aid Office receives documentation of outside scholarships awarded to your Coyote which contains sufficient data to enable us to add that outside scholarship to your Coyote\u2019s Awards, we will do so.\u00a0\u00a0 Unless the donor\u2019s letter instructs us otherwise, we will assume half is to be applied to Fall term and the remainder is to be applied to the Spring term.<\/p>\n<p>Whether your Coyote earns money in the summer and pays toward tuition or receives additional outside scholarships, the effect is the same.\u00a0 Your total remaining balance outstanding and reducing your subsequent payment(s).<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n          <\/div>\n                                        <div class=\"item\">\n            <p id=\"is-interest-charged-on-this-payment-plan\" class=\"expand-collapse-title\">\n              <a href=\"?ecopen=is-interest-charged-on-this-payment-plan#is-interest-charged-on-this-payment-plan\" title=\"Show Details\">\n                <span>Is interest charged on this payment plan?<\/span>\n              <\/a>\n            <\/p>\n            <div class=\"expand-collapse-description\">\n              <div class=\"description-wrap cf\">\n                <p>No. Only the $30.00 per term fee is added to the statements. Other fees related to declined\/late payments are possible. Interest does accrue on these loans while the student is in school and is capitalized onto the principal balance if not paid prior to the end of the year in which the interest accrues.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"block rtf align style-default align-default position-right bg-color-grey-light has-secondary-content\">\n\t<div class=\"block-wrap\">\n\t\t<div class=\"rtf-content cf\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2>OPTION 3: Federal Parent PLUS loan<\/h2>\n<p>A Parent PLUS loan can be borrowed by only a biological parent, stepparent, or adoptive parent.<\/p>\n<p>The student cannot be the borrower for the PLUS Loan.<\/p>\n<p>A Parent PLUS Loan is a credit-based Federal Student Aid loan available to a parent (as defined above) of a dependent, undergraduate student. A parent will need an FSA ID to apply for a PLUS Loan. A parent can\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/fsaid.gov\/fsa-id\/create-account\/launch\">create an FSA ID online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"link-wrap\"><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" class=\"btn btn-alt\" target=\"_blank\"><span>Learn More and Apply<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2>OPTION 4: <b>Alternative Education Loan<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>For Alternative Education loans, either a parent or the student can be the borrower but as a Commercial bank loan, borrower&#8217;s credit history will determine eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>Many young college students are very unlikely to have eligibility on their own; therefore, the student borrower will likely need a co-borrower to qualify.\u00a0 Anyone who has credit-worthiness can be the co-borrower; it does not have to be a parent or a relative.<\/p>\n<p>All forms of Federal Student Aid a student may qualify for should be utilized before considering an Alternative\/Private Education Loan.
